The Darkhotel APT gang has extended its geographic reach to victims in a host of additional countries, and has added to its cache of zero days with its use of a HackingTeam exploit for a Flash zero-day vulnerability.
UPDATE–Researchers at Rook Security have released a new tool that looks for HackingTeam malware on target systems, and also have published a set of indicators of compromise to help organizations look for signs of an infection from the intrusion software.
As the zero days in Adobe Flash continue to pile up, Mozilla has taken the unusual step of disabling by default all versions of Flash in Firefox.
